Dr. Elaine O. Foster is a licensed clinical psychologist and a retired USAF Lieutenant Colonel. She is one of 10 graduates of a congressional demonstration program which trained psychologists to prescribe psychiatric medications through the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda. Dr. Foster attended New York University as an undergraduate, and obtained her doctor of philosophy degree in clinical psychology at Nova University in Florida. She completed her predoctoral internship in clinical psychology at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Dr. Foster is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, and holds a diplomate in clinical psychology. She conducts workshops, teaches post-doctoral courses, and has published extensively on topics related to military psychology, post-traumatic stress disorder, gender and cultural/linguistic minorities and clinical psychopharmacology. Her specialties include anxiety disorders, bilingual assessments, behavioral medicine within primary care, and divorce recovery. Dr. Douglas Fraser is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and he is also certified in Clinical Psychopharmacology. He is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He spent four years in the Navy as a Naval Flight Surgeon, and was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Commander. Dr. Fraser has been in private practice in psychiatry in Pensacola since 1994. His special interest is applying state-of-the-art psychiatric medications to today's challenging psychiatric illnesses.

Kevin N. Groom, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist specializing in Clinical Neuropsychology. He completed his postdoctoral training in clinical neuropsychology at Comprehensive Community Rehabilitation Services in Tulsa, Oklahoma as well as at Tulsa Developmental Pediatrics and Center for Family Psychology. He completed an APA Division 40 predoctoral internship in clinical neuropsychology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He has doctor of philosophy and master of arts degrees in clinical psychology from the University of Tulsa (APA accredited) as well as a bachelor of arts in both psychology and international relations from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. He has published research articles on topics such as health psychology, brain injury and stroke. He specializes in assessment of cognitive dysfunction in persons who have sustained neurological damage such as brain injury, stroke and dementia. Dr. Pashia Groom is a licensed clinical psychologist who completed her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and English at William Jewell College in Kansas City, Missouri. She continued her education at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma where she obtained her doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Groom completed her residency at the Brockton VA Hospital/ Harvard Medical School and her post-doctorate fellowship at the Victims of Violence Program/ Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The last 4 years he was the clinic director for the only child/adolescent mental health clinic in the Air Force at Ramstein AB, Germany. He graduated from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine and also has a Master of Public Health degree from the Tulane University School of Public Health. Sharron Pate, Ph.D, completed her Master of Arts degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and received her doctorate from the University of Florida. Her clinical experiences have involved practicing as a psychotherapist and consultant in both adult and adolescent addictions, inpatient facilities, working in private and group practice settings, and serving as an expert witness in forensic cases. Dr. Pate has also been a presenter at seminars and a speaker on mental health topics to community groups and on WEAR TV dayside. She is an adjunct instructor at the graduate level at Troy University. Areas of specialization include marriage and family, mood disorders, chronic pain and eating disorders.

Susan Patterson, MSSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (FL #8130). She earned her Masters degree from Columbia University in New York, New York. Susan has worked in the mental health field for over 14 years and has been in private practice since 2006. She is a Certified Adoption Specialist and is the immediate past president for the CIL-Disability Resource Center. Susan's specializations are in aging, brain injury, major mental health issues such as bipolar and obsessive compulsive disorder, family therapy and adoption.

Robert Rotunda

Dr. Rob Rotunda has been a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida (PY 5645) since 1997, and was previously licensed in Massachusetts. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical/Community Psychology from the University of South Carolina in 1993 after completing a clinical internship at the Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System. He completed postdoctoral clinical and research training at the Harvard Families and Addiction Program and the Counseling for Alcoholics' Marriages (a.k.a. CALM) Project, then served as staff psychologist at Project CALM and was appointed Clinical Instructor of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Along with his private practice work at The Anchor Clinic, he is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of West Florida where he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses since 1996. Dr. Rotunda provides individual, couple and family therapy, and treats a wide range of troubles and stresses. He also provides consultation on performance enhancement, communication and team-building issues to athletes, coaches and exercisers of all ages and competition levels, as well as business leaders and organizations.

Shannon Wright-Johnson is a graduate from University of South Carolina with a degree in Clinical-Community Psychology. She completed a Post-Doctorate in Forensic Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Her career has included teaching undergraduate and graduate courses as an Assistant Professor at two universities (i.e., Northwestern State University and University of West Florida). Her clinical areas of interest include family of origins issues (e.g., physical abuse, sexual abuse, ACOA), women’s issues (e.g., self-esteem), gender and sexuality issues, and couple’s issues (e.g., communication). Dr. Wright-Johnson brings much energy and compassion to her work with a genuine caring for her clients. Although her practice focuses primarily on the adult population, she also accepts adolescent and family cases.
